In this work, the copper has grown beyond orange. The panel holds the heat of a rooftop at five in the afternoon, and the green incursions do not interrupt, they record. The chemistry does not obey the calendar.
Aiuruoca is a town in the high valleys south of the Mantiqueira, and the panel keeps something of its light. The copper has gone past orange into a warmth that holds without glare. Where other works in the series announce their heat, this one lets it stand still, a long surface that rewards the second look more than the first.
