Each work is born from an investigation into the transformation of matter. Metals, minerals and surfaces are conducted through authorial processes that reveal textures impossible to repeat in exactly the same way. Time ceases to be merely an agent of wear and becomes part of the work's construction.

My work begins with the construction of surfaces in wood and the application of metals, iron, copper and brass, subjected to processes of oxidation.

The image is not applied: it emerges from the reaction between matter, time and environment.

Each work is the result of a continuous physical process in which the surface constitutes itself as an active field of transformation.

The series Lavra (I–IX) and Brasa (I–III) organize this process as a progressive body of work, in which each piece corresponds to a distinct stage of the material's maturation.
